Over two weeks and two visits, we were shown several trailers by Sue that were supposedly for sale by Capital First and were eligible for in house financing. After going on the prior Saturday to look at trailers and choosing the two we had narrowed it down to, we called Sue on Monday morning to let her know which ones we chose only to be told that neither home was available for in house financing and that she would have to make a list that we qualified for and will call us back.

WHY SHOW US AND TELL US ABOUT HOMES WE SUPPOSEDLY QUALIFY FOR WHEN WE DONT??? We were 2 weeks from moving in, already packing and now we have to stop and cancel all moving plans until we find another place. They are liars and will lead you on only to let you down in the end. It looks great there but the service is ugly."

WARNING THEY WILL SCAM YOU. We went through several weeks of no return calls from Sue. We was offered a house that the property manager lived in then they changed the availability date 3 times. They quoted us one price then told us another. They are willing to sell people houses they cant finance then say well they cant toss you out once your in (eventhough they can) Sue knew this and held a discussion about this with the other sales lady then still came out to offer us that house from under another couple. Then when all is said and done they Sold a house out from under us."

rent rent rent; that's is all we hear out here. why is a rule that management made that you have to be 65 to get senior discount. the other parks in this area are 55. who made this bright rule out there. no repairs in the roads . all we hear out is lot rent is going up and up. are their others out there thinks shifting is against the law.we also live on toxic waste land. Is this really true? I was told there was no sex offenders aloud in here but i found out there are 6 in here."

I would like to add to the negative comments made about Tri-Star Estates. I have never lived there, but my husband worked there for almost 3 years. The management at Capital First Realty (owners of Tri-Star Estates) treat their employees like crap! They walk all over them! My husband worked on finishing the homes once they come in and warranty work. He never once got a pay raise. He worked for $10. When he first started working there, he had very good medical coverage but a few months later they basically told the workers they were going to have to spend almost 1/3 of their take home pay on insurance. The company also has delayed his paycheck on more than one occasion. I would never do business with a company that treats their employees like that. If a company treats their employees like crap, they are likely to treat their customers the same way."

I have only just purchased a home here about six months ago and I wish I had new what problems I would be facing since!!! I was promised a garage which we spent a extra 5,000 dollars for, we have yet to see this happen!! We never got the landscaping that was promised to us, or even a sidewalk!!!! Our deck which was built in all of three hours is falling apart!!! We have been constantly harrassed about petty stuff, we have done nothing to cause this except to be the new people on the block with kids!! We happen to have the largest house in the park, in which we are consistently on time with our payments.. Never once have we been in default of anything!!! Please do not buy into tristar!!! They will take your money and make your lives misserable!!! I wish there was a way that I could possibly move from here!!! Oh, by the way, our house is falling apart in the inside as well!!! Our wood trim on all the doors is falling apart!! Our doors do not close properly!! Please take my advice do not buy into this modular home park!!! Thanks, Kelley Zelek`"

this place is not worth the money you pay.. there is to much gang bangers in this community. I saw it first hand. I saw a young black male with a gun hanging out a car window and pointing this gun at some of the homes. and this is not a good thing. if they would get rid of the rift raft maybe this place would be worth living again. i have told my kids NOT to bring their kids out here for fear they may be hurt. i don't feel safe anymore living here. and when your maintenance foreman lies to you that is bad as well. because of his lies i have to replace my carpeting. we hired him to put up a screen door and he said i will be there on Saturday, that was a month ago. and he avoids us like the plaque. that is so wrong Joe.... we don't like being lied to."

There customer service is horrendous, all of them are idiots, they know nothing about selling these homes, or even the correct pricing!
My family tried purchasing a brand new home, we were told a certain price and 2 days before closing. BAM- they raised the price to a ridiculous amount...they are a very horrible and dishonest business, keep your finances safe, DON'T BUY FROM THEM!"

i dont know if my first post will be displayed,it said " your comment is not being saved cause it contains too much nonsense"TRI STAR SUCKS,THE LOT RENT IS INSANE,there is no where for the kids to play,i bought my trailer 7 years old and have put about ten thousand into it in repairs,i mean this whole place and all the people from the office to the workers are morons!!!!and oh the lot rent just keeps going up and up,we pay almost five hundred dollars a month for a little piece of grass we call a yard or a lot,where does all this money go,god i cant wait to move into a house,i just cant take it anymore.and to the poster below i bought what i thought was a new home,well close to new,i have replaced everything from the furnace to the hot water heater.stove,plumbing,gas lines,you name it,its just insane."

WHAT a RIP OFF. they lie lie and lie and lie more.I bought my home for one price I was told but guess what there where many many hidden fee. They will lie and tell you any thing.As far as it goes the rules are changed for each person.The rent will kill you there is no way out once you get here. MY BIG QUESTION IS WHAT IN THE HE@# IS THE LOT RENT GOING TO ?????The pool is way way to small People just do not watch there kids out here drugs are bad,. I want out but can't figer out how I say buy a house and save your self some money.very said to say WE live there.And by the way what are the kids out there to do there is nothing for them to do they are all over the streets it crazy please make a teen place like a basketball Court or something"

I have live here about 3 years. I have dealt with the office help at different times, I just cant help to wonder how the managerremains employed with her lack of skills? There is a lack of regardfor the so called rules, unless the manager has developed a grudge with you, than only have what rules apply to Your residence they make the rules up as they go along there is many people that have been forced to leave it makes me wonder where is the civil suit??? how can this keep going on???? WE NEED TO FIGHT BACK!!!! And end this.Plus it aint worth the rent rates to live here!"

WE BOUGHT WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A NEW HOME, AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE THAT WAS A LYE, THEY MAKE DEALS THEN THEY RENIG ON THEM, RENT GOES UP & UP BUT WHAT GETS DONE HERE? NOTHING AT ALL. STREETS FLOOD, DRAINAGE SYSTEM HERE SUCKS. ALOT OF PROPERTY HAVE HOLES IN THE GROUND WHERE THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM IS, VERY DANGEROUS, WE CANT GET OUT OF HERE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO HAVE 20 ACRES TO PUT A MOBILE HOME THERE, THEY NEED TO START TREATING PEOPLE BETTER HERE AND LOWER THE LOT RENT IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO FIX ANYTHING, THEY ALSO NEED TO QUIT SCREWING PEOPLE BY SELLING THEM RUN DOWN HOMES. THEY NEED TO DESTROY THEM."

We moved in 5 years ago. Within those 5 years, our rent has increased $200 dollars each month. There have been little to no reason to raise the rent this much. Yes they have a pool that holds 20 people and there are over 100o families that live here. You can't sell your home for what it is worth, so you are stuck paying high rent and a mortgage or going bankrupt."
